At End of Day

"I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me" (Psalm 3:5). I am so thankful I can lay down and sleep with this promise assured. It is not by my power or intellect or anything I have but totally and completely dependant upon who I am in Christ because of the Cross. Thank you Jesus!

At End of Day

Jesus never promised that life would be perfect or that we would not suffer, be tested, or have trials. We live in a fallen world. What He did promise is that He will be with us all the way and eternity in Heaven. Coming to Christ is not about bless me and make me rich. It's about dying to our selves and Christ living in us. The Cross made a way where there was no way for us to be reconciled to God and be able to call Him Father and have the ability to live Victorious in this life rather than be eternally separated from Him because of a sin debt we could not pay and a sin nature we cannot overcome on our own. A Holy God cannot look upon sin but a perfect Sacrifice who is fully God and fully man kept the law perfectly and died in our place. Thank you Jesus! (John 3:16; Galations 2:20).

At End Of Day

"I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety" (Psalm 4:8). This is my only secret to life and beyond. Even if all around is turmoil, at the Cross, I find Peace. It isn't a thing but a Person. The Crucified Lamb of God, Jesus Christ.

At end of Day

"It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect." (Psalm 18:32), therefore I will not despair nor complain but lay it all at the foot of the Cross of my Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ.

At end of Day

"...I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content." (Philippians 4:11b) for all things happen in God's time and He is an on time, eternally present tense God, the Great I Am! I simply look to the Cross, leave my burdens there and trust Christ's finished Work there.

At End of Day

Sometimes things are not how we WANT them but if we focus our Faith upon the Cross of Christ,in God's time He will work things out like we NEED them & I will live in peace knowing that. (Philippians 4:6-7)

Today's Thought: What we couldn't do was done for us so when we try to do it on our own we can't receive what has already been done i.e. The Cross (Gal 2:21).
